Problem-Solving Skills and Motivation over Knowledge and Experience

There will always be a problem, better to be prepared for that.
In my experience, the most effective team is not necessarily the one that consists of people who have the most experience and the most knowledge. Rather, it is a team that consists of quick learners who are highly motivated, and who perceive problems as a challenge.

You can trust, that this team will be able to deal with any issue that comes their way instead of escalating it.
With a team like that you can be sure they will be able to learn and understand what it takes to find a proper solution and they are not afraid to ask for help when needed. They won’t lose time complaining about setbacks or losing motivation.
They excel at boosting the teams’ self-confidence and fostering a great team spirit. This is the driving force to quickly progress on their project. Their mindset and motivation are ready to tackle every challenge.
I am not saying that experience and knowledge are irrelevant. That would be wrong. However, I have seen individuals with ample experience getting caught up in overthinking a problem from every angle without making progress toward a solution. I’ve also seen experts who are keen to offer their expert advice but are unwilling to put in the necessary effort let alone go the extra mile to get the job done.
The dream team is of course the one having it all, but when is that ever the case?
So, if you were to ask me what matters more, in MOST cases, I would prioritize motivation and problem-solving skills over experience and knowledge. This is because problems are inevitable, while knowledge can be acquired, and experience grows as the team progresses.
